클라리네티스트 김한은 11세에 금호영재콘서트 무대를 통해 데뷔하며 큰 주목을 받았다. 소프라노 임선혜의 독창회와 금호영재콘서트 신년음악회에서의 연주를 통해 일찍이 클라리넷 신동으로서 실력을 입증한 김한은 금호아시아나솔로이스츠의 최연소 멤버이자 바이츠 퀸텟의 창단 멤버이다.

김한은 서울시립교향악단과 KBS교향악단, 수원시립교향악단, 성남시립교향악단, 광주시립교향악단, 창원시립교향악단, 유라시안 필하모닉 등 유수의 교향악단과 협연하였으며, 아르토 노라스와 볼프강 마이어, 다니엘 뮐러 쇼트, 이고르 레비트, 상하이 스트링 콰르텟, 베네비츠 콰르텟 등의 실내악단과도 연주해오고 있다. 또한 이건음악회과 서울스프링실내악축제, 대관령국제음악제, 서울국제음악제, 디토 페스티벌 등의 주요 축제에 초청받는 등 다채로운 활동을 통해 그 실력을 보여주고 있다.
클래식부터 재즈와 현대음악에 이르기까지 음악적 스펙트럼을 넓히고 있는 그는 2008년 일본 국제 클라리넷 페스티벌에 최연소 아티스트로 초청받아 독주회를 가졌으며, 이후 시티 오브 런던 페스티벌과 하이델베르크 스프링 국제 뮤직 페스티벌, 오스트프리슬란트 뮤지칼리셔 좀머(Musikalischer Sommer in Ostfriesland), 파블로 카잘스 페스티벌 등 세계 각지의 축제에 초청받는 등 해외 무대에서도 두각을 드러내고 있다.

김한은 제2회 베이징 국제 음악 콩쿠르에서 심사위원 특별상인 최고유망주상을 수상하였으며, 바이츠 퀸텟의 멤버로 참가한 제1회 칼 닐슨 국제 실내악 콩쿠르에서 2위에 입상한 후, 제3회 자크 랑슬로 국제 클라리넷 콩쿠르에서 심사위원 만장일치 1등상과 청중상, 위촉곡 최고해석상을 동시에 석권함으로써 차세대 대표 클라리넷 연주자로서의 이름을 각인시켰다. 

예원학교를 거쳐 이튼 칼리지와 길드홀음악연극학교를 장학생으로 졸업한 김한은 이용근과 김현곤, 앤드류 웹스터를 사사한 후, 뤼베크음악대학에서 자비나 마이어를 사사하였으며, 2018년 하반기부터 핀란드 방송 교향악단의 클라리넷 부수석으로 활동하고 있다.

Clarinetist Han Kim began playing the clarinet at the age of 10, and has already been recognized around the world as the most promising clarinet prodigy for his wondrous and mature playing, since his video clips of first recital were shared through Youtube and captivated world-wide audiences over 5 million times. 

Han Kim has appeared many times as a soloist with a number of orchestra such as KBS symphony orchestra and Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra since his debut on year 2009, playing Mozart clarinet concerto with Euro-Asian orchestra in Seoul and has been collaborated chamber music performances with many of world’s finest musicians including Arto Noras, Wolfgang Meyer, Daniel Müller-Schott, Igor Levit, Shanghai String Quartet, Bennewitz Quartet and recent engagements include the world premiere performances of Jeajoon Ryu’s clarinet sonata, clarinet quintet, and Fuminori Tanada’s Clarinet concerto. 
Since he launched his international career by recital Japan international clarinet festival in 2008, he was among the distinguished artists invited to numerous festivals, such as City of London festival, Heidelberger Frühling music festival, Musikalischer Sommer in Ostfriesland and many others.

Kim is the winner of the 3^rd Jacques Lancelot International Clarinet Competition by unanimous decision, as well as receiving the audience prize and the prize for the commissioned work. He also received numerous awards including the Jury’s special prize of the 2nd Beijing International Music Competition. He is the youngest member of Kumho Asiana Soloists and a founding member of Veits quintet, the 2^nd prize-winner of the 1^st Carl Nielsen international chamber music competition.
Han Kim graduated Eton College and Guildhall school of Music and Drama on a scholarship with Andrew Webster. He studied with Sabina Meyer at Musikhochschule Lübeck. Currently he is the 2^nd Solo Clarinet of Finnish Radio Symphony.
