비올리스트 이한나는 라비니아, 베르비에, 말보로 와 같은 국제 유수 페스티벌에 여러 차례 초청되어 콜린카, 루시 채프먼, 킴 카쉬카시안과 같은 명연주자들과 호흡을 맞추었다. 2009년 뉴 잉글랜드 콘서바토리 협주곡 콩쿠르에서 1위를 차지하며 수상자 협연 연주회를 가졌으며, 그 외에도 2007년 국제 영아티스트 콩쿠르 1위, 헬람 영아티스트 콩쿠르 특별상, 오사카 국제콩쿠르 2위 등 다수의 국제콩쿠르에서 석권하였다. 2004년 금호 영아티스트 콘서트를 통해 데뷔한 이한나는 2009년 금호아트홀 ‘라이징스타 시리즈’로 차세대 비올리스트로 주목을 받았으며 그 후 2011년 금호아티스트 시리즈 독주회 2014년 겨울나그네 전곡 독주회 등 꾸준히 금호에서 초청 독주회를 열고 있다. 2014년에는 코리안 심포니와 바르톡 협주곡 협연, 구미음악제에서 알래스카 페어뱅크스 심포니 오케스트라와 협연을 하며, 그 밖에 2012년 프랑크푸르트라인마인 청년 필하모닉 협연, KNUA 오케스트라와 NEC 필하모닉과 다수 협연한 바 있다.

기돈크레머, 유리 바슈메트, 안드라스 쉬프, 프란츠 헬멀슨, 갈스 녹스, 폴유바우어, 라이너 묵, 브루노 파스퀴에 등 수많은 음악가들의 마스터 클래스에 참여하였고, 파멜라 프랑크, 유진 드러커, 스티븐 테넌봄, 데이비드 핀켈, 보로메오콰르텟 등 실내악으로부터 코칭을 받았다.

그녀는 2012년 ‘Kronberg Chamber Music Connects the World’ 프로그램에서 바이올리니스트 크리스티안 테츨라프, 첼리스트 스티븐 이설리스와 함께 연주하며 독일 무대에 섰다. 2015년 객석 차세대 이끌 젊은 예술가에 선정된 이한나는 스프링 페스티발, 부산 음악제, 구미음악제 등에 초청되어 연주하였고 현재는 금호아시아나솔로이스츠 단원으로 정기공연 및 지방투어 연주를 하는 동시에 올림푸스 앙상블 멤버, 오푸스 앙상블 멤버, 로망 앙상블 멤버, 2011년에 결성된 칼라치 스트링 콰르텟 멤버로 활동하고 있다. 2014년부터 매달 예술의전당 아티스트 라운지에 출연하고 있으며 한국예술종합학교 영재원과 선화 예술 중•고등학교 강사로 출강 중이다.

예원학교 졸업, 서울예술고등학교 재학 중 한국예술종합학교 영재로 입학하였으며, 오순화, 김상진, 이서영을, 커티스 음악원에서 로베르토 디아즈를 사사하였다. 뉴잉글랜드 콘서버토리에서는 킴 카쉬카시안 지도 아래석사과정 및 연주자 과정을 수료하였으며, 독일 크론베르크 아카데미에서 노부코 이마이에게 가르침을 받았다.

Violist Hanna Lee is rapidly gaining renown as one of the most promising young violists of her generation. She just finished her studying in the prestigious Kronberg Academy in Germany with Nobuko Imai. Prior to this, she earned a Master’s degree at the New England Conservatory as a student of Kim Kashkashian, and while there was selected to perform the Walton Viola Concerto with the Conservatory Orchestra as winner of the 2009 Concerto Competition. She also studied with Roberto Diaz at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. She also played with Junge Philharmonie Frankfurt RheinMain.

Ms. Lee has performed widely as a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed at some of the world’s mostacclaimed chamber music festivals, including the Marlboro Music Festival, the Ravinia Festival, and the Verbier Festivalwhere she has worked with some of the most renownedmusicians in the world, including Richard Goode, Arnold Steinhardt, Peter Wiley, Colin Carr, Judith Serkin, Lucy Chapman, and Charles Neidich. In 2011, she joined theBorromeo Quartet in a performance of the Schoenberg Sextet. As violist of the Kallaci String Quartet, she has performed widely in Asia, the quartet having been invited to perform in theKumho Art Hall in Seoul, and selected as one of only elevenquartets to compete in the Wigmore Hall London InternationalString Quartet Competition in 2012.

Ms. Lee has been recognized as a top prize winner in Korea’sHaydn Competition, the Midland-Odessa Symphony’s National Young Artist Competition, and the Springfield Symphony Orchestra’s Hellam Young Artist’s Competition. Ms. Lee is a member of Kumho Asiana Soloists, member of Kallaci String Quartet and member of Olympus Emsemble.
