스위스 제네바 국제 콩쿠르와 이탈리아 부조니 국제 콩쿠르에서 연이어 우승을 차지한 피아니스트 문지영은 국내외 유수 오케스트라들과의 협연과 세계적인 무대에서의 독주회를 통해 가장 주목 받는 젊은 음악가이자 피아니스트로 명성을 쌓고 있다. 1957년 두 콩쿠르에서 모두 우승한 피아노 여제
마르타 아르헤리치의 행보를 닮은 연주자라는 평가를 받고 있는 문지영은 부조니 콩쿠르의 심사위원장 외르크 데무스로부터 ‘이 시대에서는 사라졌다고 생각했던 음악성의 자연스러움을 그녀에게서 발 견했다’는 극찬을 받았다.
문지영은 정명훈을 비롯하여 리오넬 브랑기에, 알렉산더 셸리, 발렌티나 펠레지, 디트리히 파레데스, 로베르토 벨트란-자발라, 다니엘 보이코, 빅토르 파블로 페레즈, 마리오 벤자고, 벤자민 베일, 사샤 괴첼, 제임스 저드, 요엘 레비, 김대진 등의 지휘로 스위스 로망드 오케스트라, 아시아 필하모닉 오케스트라, 재팬 필하모닉 오케스트라, 이탈리아 트리에스테 베르디 극장 오케스트라, 올림피코 극장 오케스트라, 부조니 누오바 오케스트라, 상트페테르부르크 심포니, 이탈리아 팔레르모 클래시카 심포니 오케스트라, 헝가리 마브 심포니 오케스트라, 마드리드 주립 오케스트라 등 세계 정상급 오케스트라와 협연무대를 가졌으며, 국내 무대에서는 서울시향, KBS교향악단, 대전시향, 국립심포니오케스트라(구 코리안심포니오케스트라), 부천필하모닉, 부산시향, 수원시향, 광주시향, 창원시향, 춘천시향, 전주시향, 대구시향, 강릉시향 등 다수의 오케스트라와 협연을 이어오고 있다.
또한 라이프치히 게반트하우스, 파리 에꼴노르말 코르토홀, 프라하 루돌피눔 드보르작홀, 폴란드 비드고슈치 아르투르 루빈스타인 필하모니, 뉴욕 스타인웨이 홀, 영국 위그모어홀, 헝가리 리스트 아카데미 등 전 세계 저명한 공연장과 폴란드 바르샤바 쇼팽과 그의 유럽 페스티벌, 두슈니키 쇼팽 국제 페스티벌, 이탈리아 아르투로 베네데티 미켈란젤리 페스티벌, 팔레르모 클래시카 페스티벌 등에서 리사이틀을 진행하였으며, 뉴욕을 포함한 미국 동부 리사이틀 투어를 진행하였다. 이 외에도 일본, 아르헨티나, 러시아, 스위스, 멕시코, 페루, 벨기에, 덴마크 등 세계를 무대로 활발한 활동을 선보이고 있다.

At the age of 18, pianist Chloe Jiyeong Mun was brought to the world’s attention in 2014 when she won first prize at the Geneva International Competition in Switzerland. In 2015, she also won the Busoni International
Competition in Italy. Her earlier career path resembles that of the great pianist of our time Martha Argerich, who won the same competitions back in 1957.As a sought-after soloist, Mun has been performing internationally in Germany, France, Poland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, England, Denmark, the USA, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Japan and, her native South Korea. She has performed works by Beethoven, Shostakovich, Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Bruch and Grieg with renowned orchestras including the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Moscow Soloists, the Asian Philharmonic Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Trieste Verdi Theater Orchestra, Nuova Orchestra Ferruccio Busoni, St.Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, Palermo Classica Festival Orchestra, MAV Symphony Orchestra, the Community of Madrid Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, and Korean National Symphony Orchestra.Furthermore, Chloe Jiyeong Mun has collaborated with the world’s leading conductors, including Myung-whun Chung, Alexander Shelley, Yuri Bashmet, James Judd, Lionel Bringuier, Valentina Peleggi, Roberto Beltran Zavala, Daniel Boico, Victor Pablo Perez, Mario Venzago, and EijiOue.
For solo recitals, she has appeared at the Gewandhaus, Wigmore Hall, Salle Cortot, Philharmonie Arthur Rubinstein in Bydgoszcz, and Seoul Arts Center featuring works by Rameau, Ravel, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Debussy, and Albeniz. Also as a committed chamber musician, Mun played at festivals such as Sociedad Filarmónica de Vilagarcía, the Seoul Spring Festival of Chamber music, and Seoul International Music Festival.
Highlights of Chloe Jiyeong Mun in recent years include a duo recital at the Liszt Academy and a solo recital at the 17th Chopin and his Europe International Music Festival by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute. In 2021, she gave the world premiere of Jeajoon Ryu's Sonata for Viola and Piano at the Seoul Arts Center with violist Sangjin Kim.
In 2017, Chloe Jiyeong Mun released her first album Schumann Piano Sonata No.1 & Fantasie with Deutsche Grammophon.
